You Wouldn’t Believe What Our Students Are Learning in North Bend

Some of the Many Things That Make North Bend Schools Special

CTE Programs in Action

From Welding to Brain Science: Amazing Learning Happening in North Bend

Today our School Board members Carol Yardley and Anna Huit had the opportunity to tour several of our Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, and it was a great reminder of how fortunate we are in North Bend.

From construction students working safely on roofing projects, to welding students building real-world employability skills, to culinary students creating incredible food (the carrot cake muffins smelled amazing), every stop highlighted the hands-on learning happening across our schools. Our healthcare students even showed off their anatomy studies, including a real slice of brain, while media arts students demonstrated how they enhance and edit professional-quality photographs.

What stood out the most was the passion of our CTE educators. Their dedication to motivating students and teaching real-world skills is what makes these pathways so meaningful.

We are incredibly proud of the opportunities our students have through CTE and grateful for the staff who pour their hearts into these programs every day.

Parents and students, which CTE class did you or your student love the most?
