The deadline to order Spirit Gear and the PTA Fundraiser for the NBMS has been extended to October 18th! The BDI class at NBHS has created a new design for our T-shirts and sweatshirts this year. They look amazing so be sure to get one!

NBMS students will be participating in the Great American Shake Out on October 19th at 10:19 AM. Millions of people worldwide will practice how to Drop, Cover and Hold On during the Great Shake Out Earthquake Drill. Visit Shakeout.org for more details.

Advantage Dental wants to keep our com- munity cavity-free and healthy. They will be providing a group of dental hygienists to provide services to our students on October 25th & 26th. Permission forms have already been sent home with students. If you did not receive one and wish for your child to participate, we do have extra forms available in the office.

Hoop Group is back! A basketball open gym for boys and girls 1st-12th grade, Sundays, October 1-November 12 from 5:30pm-7:00pm in the gym at Prosper Hall. No session October 22. Join SWOCC Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach Riley Grandinetti and get ready for basketball season. All skill levels are welcome from beginners to advanced players. The fee is $10.00 per session per player. Boys & Girls Club membership is not required. Pre-register at the Boys & Girls Club or register at the gym. Call 541-267-6573 for more information.

The Boys & Girls Club is accepting registrations for the upcoming volleyball season. Games will start Saturday, November 4 for players in grades 3-6.  The fee is $80 with a current club membership.  Reduced fees are available for those that qualify.

We are collecting cake mixes and cans of frosting to contribute to our Community Christmas food baskets this year.  This will be a classroom competition, so bring donations to your advisory class.  Show your school spirit and help out local families.

All 8th grade boys & girls are invited to participate in a free basketball conditioning course through The CLUB Teen Center on Fridays from 5-6p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club gymnasium. For more information contact Annabel at 541-267-3635.

Every Wednesday there will be a one hour early release for all students. North Bend Middle School students will be released at 2:00pm.
